Our new white cheddar gourmet popcorn offering is created by adding Cabot dried white cheddar powder to our gourmet freshly popped hot popcorn. The dried cheddar powder is uniformly mixed with our hot freshly popped popcorn as the dried cheddar powder is sprinkled on the popcorn as the popcorn is churning in a slowly revolving tumbler. The cheddar powder adheres to the hot popcorn and hardens as the popcorn cools creating a wonderful dry cheddar coating that stays on the popcorn. Our cheddar popcorn can be mixed with any of our other flavors. Now that we are offering our cheddar flavor I am coining the new term “Bar Harbor Mix” which is a 50–50 mix of our cheddar popcorn and our caramel. I think you will love our new cheddar!
